#SaveChijioke

St. Cyril Cancer Treatment Foundation S.C.I.P.S (St. Cyril Initiative for Patients Support) raised funds to help Chijioke. She is five years old and was diagnosed with Wilms's Tumor (stage 3) in October 2020 at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). First, she received chemotherapy after which she was sent for surgery. Her surgery took place on the 10th of December 2020. Two weeks after her surgery, the Consultant said she was due for Radiotherapy. At stage 3 Nephroblastoma (Wilms's Tumor), Surgery alone cannot take out the Tumor completely because it has started to spread to other parts of the body.

We kicked off a fundraising campaign to help Chijioke with her treatment. So far, we have been able to raise NGN482,713 ($1177.76). She’s close to rounding up her last cycles of chemotherapy and she’s feeling much better. THANK YOU for your support!

Ongoing Construction of our Surulere Cancer Treatment Center.

With our goal to increase the number of cancer treatment facilities in Nigeria and Africa, St. Cyril Cancer Treatment foundation is building one of its clinics in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. The ongoing construction has been impeded by various factors such as the Covid-19 pandemic and an increase in the general price level of goods and services.

However, being resilient in achieving our vision, we have applied for various grants to complete the clinic. We also used the GlobalGiving little by little campaign platform to raise funds for the ongoing project and we have  been able to raise $250 during the campaign. We appreciate those that have donated so far and if you haven’t, please do and endeavour to share with friends and family. THANK YOU!
