Dear Friends of St. Cyril,
Your support has been a firm foundation for the treatment of cancer patients in Nigeria.
As we find ourselves in the second half of 2023, we cannot overlook the profound emotions that have accompanied our journey in caring for cancer patients.
It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the loss of quite a number of our cancer patients.
For our organization, these losses have touched us profoundly. We have witnessed the resilience, strength, and determination of these cancer patients as they faced the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and the uncertainties that come with this relentless illness.
The battle against cancer is an emotional one for us, as each loss represents a unique story, and an extraordinary life.
Thus far, we lost a lot. But we also saved a lot of lives.
Among the heartache, we witnessed a powerful testament to the transformative power of your collective support. Through your generosity, we saved the life of a courageous 17-year-old lady diagnosed with breast cancer.
Thanks to your unwavering commitment to our cause, this young fighter was provided the necessary medical interventions.
This success story serves as a testament and reaffirms the profound impact that our collective action, compassion, and generosity can have on individuals battling with cancer.
We ask that you continue your commitment to our cause today, as it will greatly contribute to expanding our impact.
