Second COVID Emergency Food Relief Program

We are extremely grateful for how you stepped up to support this iniative. When Kisumu and 13 other counties were put in another lockdown, we weren't really sure how the families we support would make it through. Many of them were just barely starting to catch their footing after the first lockdown last year, and here their livelihoods were once again put on hold as markets were shut down again. In the first month of the lockdown, many families had already started having to ration their food and could only provide 2 meals a day for their families. 

But you came through in a huge way for them. 

Thanks to funds donated by you and other supporters like you, Nehemiah's Restoration was once again able to provide these families with the food supplies necessary to ensure the children they care for, including the Orphans and Vulnerable Children each of these families have taken in, wouldn't go hungry during this difficult time. Thanks to you, we were able to ensure each family received 12kgs of corn meal, 2kgs of beans, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 bar of soap, and several face masks for each family member per month. So far, we have held three monthly distributions and the families we distributed to are incredibly grateful for your support.
