Send 200 Filipino kids to better daycare centers

We at Haligi ng Bata, Inc. (HBI) would like to greet you Happy Holidays in behalf of the La Union and Metro Manila children you have reached through your generous donations.

Your support enabled HBI to reach 300 La Union children who have been provided with hygiene kits, vitamin supplementation, and other health materials that they sorely need in continuing to stay healthy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. During this year, the donation of the Airbnb Community Fund made possible by GlobalGiving provided complete hygiene kits and vitamins to 400 children and their families in indigent areas of Quezon City (Payatas and West Fairview). The fund also aided eight (8) public elementary schools with 1,200 students in La Union with their needed printers and materials to support modular distance education. Because of this, the students' parents no longer have to shell out money to pay for their children's printed modules.

The challenges we faced in 2020 may have spilled over in 2021, but through it all we continue to go against the tide in the hopes that 2022 will be the year where we can all pick up the pieces and rebuild. With your genuine concern and fervent support, HBI will be able to continue giving their very best work in helping marginalized children, families, schools, and communities a fighting chance at a better future.
