SEND A CHILD TO SCHOOL
We have started the year in full force with most of the children back at school, however, our finances are still crippled as a result some children have not yet fully been placed.
EDUCATION and SPONSORSHIP
We provide education sponsorship for seventeen Primary school students learning at Kuwadzana Primary School and thirteen high school students, at various institutions.
In 2024 all the high school students were at Divine Foundation Christian College but due to really poor results, we decided to move them to different institutions and introduce a tutoring program through Westway College one of the new schools we are now using to help our students upgrade themselves.
The primary school students will be tutored in the community while the high school students will have to travel to Westway initially fortnightly on the weekends and the program will grow from there.
A term now essentially needs $3 900.00 in school fees to cater to all students. We need to find new helpers to ensure that in 2025 none of our students miss out on learning opportunities.
Stationery demands a further $1 500.00 per given term.
We will need to raise allowances for tutors as well. These have become critical given how left behind some of the students are.
Our finances are still crippled, and as a result, some children have not yet been fully placed in school. We require and are appealing to sponsors to donate towards the education and development of these young spiring lives. We hope to find sponsors that will assist by partnering with Harvesters in Sport Trust (HIS) through adopting a child so that every child is afforded the necessities and opportunities in life. We hope to resuscitate our finances through engaging and partnering with sponsors for our lined-up projects and other fundraising ideas like the possibility of sourcing funds to commence on the Horticulture commercial farming project in Darwendale to ensure a continued, steady, sustainable, and smooth running of operations, and enhancing food security and support for vulnerable populations like our own orphans. We are hopeful that Horticulture will take shape soon funds permitting.

MOBILE LIBRARY
This year we are introducing the mobile library it is supposed to run concurrently with the study sessions commencing this month for all of the students we sponsor, to ensure they pass. We Hope the purpose for this initiative of ensuring assistance with the student’s studies as they go back to school in 2025 will finally yield results.
We need to acquire metal trunks for storing our purchased equipment and to protect books from gathering dust or rats in the cabin. There is an urgent need for the library to be up and running for the sake of the children’s pass rate. There is a need for the children to be introduced to a culture of reading to assist them in their academics through supervised studies.
CONCLUSION
We look forward to many fundraising ideas and initiatives this 2025, to see the organization's finances boosted to ensure the program's sustainability without which it cannot be run. We are grateful for the successful running of the children’s program so far, and hope to usher it to another level come January
