During the period under report, GLOWAHaus, our healing and empowerment facility for sexually exploited women and girls recently graduated 16 Participants. After 15 months of an integrated empowerment initiative, the ladies were trained in sewing and garment making, Cameroon traditional embroidery and cattery. We are proud of their contribution towards celebrating 2024 humanitarian day in Bamenda through the production of snacks for the humanitarian family.
In an emotional ceremony that brought families and friends together, some participants recounted the transformation they received at GLOWAHaus. They looked up to the future with optimism and hope and committed to continue to be worthwhile ambassadors of GLOWAHaus.
Many expressed the desire to see GLOWA support them with startup investment fund to start their personal income generating activities and make use of the skills acquire through the program
