Dear Supporter,
We hope that you are well and keeping safe during these unprecedented times.
We would like to thank you once again for your generous support and provide you with an update on the She is Empowered (ShE) program.
We are excited to announce that applications for the ShE program will launch on 28 October 2020. The application will be open to adolescent girls and young women from Zimbabwe, Senegal, Angola, Nigeria, Uganda, Tunisia, Botswana, Ethiopia, South Sudan and South Africa.
Successful applicants will be invited to a virtual interview in mid to late November 2020 with the tentative selection and announcement of 20 ShE Leaders in December 2020.
The non-residential, online development program will officially start in January 2021 and end in December 2021 focusing on topics that will empower the ShE Leaders through skills transfer to transform their lives and their communities.
