Greetings from Community Organising for Rural Upliftment Society, Kurnool, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
First of all we are very much thankful and grateful for your wonderful timely support for the Oldage destitute women through our Organization in India.
We are very happy to inform you that our organization recognized as Effective Non-profit, Top Ranked, Vetted organization, Field Visit Certificate and Staff Favorite organization for the year 2019, and by the 501c3 tax deductible nonprofit organization of GlobalGiving Foundation, USA. We are expressing our sincere thanks to you for donating amount to feed the destitute Old age women in our Old Age Home run by Community Organising for Rural Upliftment Society (CORUS) Organization.
There are no standards prescribed for Old Age Homes. However, minimum facilities provided
for Staying, Food, Sleeping, Recreation, Clothes, Reading etc., have required in healthy atmosphere. A tie-up can be arranged with a local qualified Doctor for weekly basis consultation at the Old Age Home for regular check up and specific consultation by inmates. The CORUS organization have supplied free medicines to inmates.
The materials which are required to be consumed in Old Age Home are provisions, groceries, vegetables, toiletries, medicines, chemicals, washing soap, detergents, etc. These can be purchased on a monthly basis. All these items can be procured from regular suppliers.
By observing in the rural area of the District, some of the families having disputes and without any reason wrangles in between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law finally son forcefully join his mother in the old age homes. We only persuade always to lead the enduring life with dignity. After coming to Old age home, they are socializing with other inmates of the home. They forget about their kith and kin and they lead residual life peacefully in our Old age home. By timely help in our old age home, we are able to see their healthiness have been improving and having hope on their remaining lives. We are in need of generous support of donors to continue our services to the older persons in time without your online donations to organization it is very difficult for us to help the destitute Old age women.
Some of the Other activities in the Oldage Home
The home celebrates some special occasions like Christmas, New Year and other festivals by distributing sweets and other items.
The health condition of all inmates of home is monitored regularly by a medical practitioner on Salary basis, who visits the home once in a week and also attends to emergencies. Advanced medical equipment like Digital BP meter and one touch blood sugar monitor and other medical equipments are made available to closely monitor for the health condition.
Future Plan for the improvement:
To purchase the housesite for construction of the building.
50 oldage women in the home.
