In 2021, our Community Outreach Team began partnering with schools, churches, clinics and other local community sites to host Disability Advocacy Trainings. These trainings educate and empower Disability Advocates as they create a world where children with intellectual disabilities are valued!
We held our 3rd graduation ceremony for 2022 for both Kaunda Square and Ng'ombe on the 12th and 13th of July. So far we have trained 455 Advocates from both sites!
We are so incredibly proud of these hard-working Disability Advocates who just graduated from Special Hope Training. We know that they will have a huge impact, sharing hope and light in their communities, as they advocate for children with disabilities.
