This project is rolling along despite the lack of movement here on GlobalGiving. There are currently about 4 other avenues for receiving funds for this project through partners in the USA and The Netherlands that account for about $200,000 as of 22 March.
In terms of the project's progress- Shade for Children has signed a contract with a builder and paid the first installment of $7300 for finalized architectural plans and for a deposit.
We also hired a surveyor to mark the boundaries of the property and we've applied to have electricity extended to the property. We anticipate have water wells dug in April prior to the beginning of foundation work in April or May. The builder estimates that the "warm shell" (house with roof, windows, and doors) will be completed by August.
