Mphamba Village is located in the Eastern Province of Zambia. Like many villages in the country, people here have no access to electricity and continue to depend on candles and kerosene lamps for lighting. These sources of lighting are not only dangerous to their health and safety but also bad for our planet and environment.
Many of the people we spoke to in Mphamba Village have a dream of owning a solar lamp someday. The biggest barrier to their dream is the cost of one solar lamp. 90% of the people live on less than $2 a day making it hard for them to save and buy a solar lamp which cost $30.
We want to help the people in Mphamba Village and to make this a reality we believe our donors can help in turning the dreams of many households in Mphmaba Village a reality.
Can you join us in donating solar lamps to Mphamba Village this year?
Thank you for your continued support.
