"For Equal Rights" Educational Center NGO, with the support of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Armenia, launched a new educational program, the aim of which is to support forcibly displaced teenagers from Artsakh to integrate and recover through informal capacity building courses, educational intellectual games and art therapy.
Within the scope of the project, it is planned to organize free of charge pottery, painting, singing, needlework groups in 5 communities of RA in the summer. These group courses will not only be an opportunity to acquire new skills in arts and crafts, but also a rehabilitation process through art therapy under the guidance of relevant specialists, whose demand, according to the state needs assessment study, is quite high, especially among children and teenagers.
The next component of the program is the three-day courses. The courses will be alternative integration platforms for Artsakh and Armenian teenagers aged 15-18, during which the participants will gain new knowledge and experience through games, videos, discussions and debates, getting the opportunity to express themselves and make new friends in an informal educational environment.
At this point 3 training courses were implemented. The first one was in the Vardashen, Sayat Nova and Artashat communities of the Ararat region. During the first training course 9 participants were from Artsakh out of 22 in total, in the second one 12 participants were from Artsakh out of 22 in total, in the third training course 10 were from Artsakh out of 15 in total.
