The war in the Ukraine has caused many casualties amongst the animal kingdom including domestic and stray pets. The Center of Hope Animal Hospital has been on full alert to help any animal in need. One such dog was Natasha; about 10 years old she was found in Odessa in the Ukraine having been hit by a car and shot with a pellet gun. Both her leg and hip were broken she had heartworms and lots of parasites both internal and external. She was picked up and transported to the Center of Hope Hospital.
At the hospital she received intensive treatment; X-rays, Ultrasounds, blood and fluid transfusions, pain management, antibiotics and was spayed. She had surgeries to remove the pellets and to reset her broken leg. Nutritional food, socialisation and ongoing treatment for Heartworms during her stay. Finally, Natasha was found a wonderful loving home in Germany.
