Roshni Homes Trust held a sports event on its campus for the children living in the orphanage. The event was organized with the aim of promoting physical activity and healthy competition among the children, while also providing an opportunity for them to showcase their skills and talents. The event was a huge success and had a positive impact on the children's physical and mental well-being, as well as their social development.
The event was hosted by the Trust's President &Trustee members. Notable guests included the top management of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and other distinguished members of the local business community.
Sports and Activities:
The sports event included a variety of athletic and field sports, such as running races, obstacle courses, sack races, cricket, badmintion and football. All the children participated in the event, regardless of their age or gender, and were divided into teams based on their age groups. The younger children participated in running races and obstacle courses, while the older children played cricket and football. The children showed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the event, cheering on their teammates and congratulating their opponents on their achievements.
Standout Performances and Achievements:
Several children displayed outstanding performances during the sports event. MM, a 6-year-old boy, won the running race in his age group, while RK, a 12-year-old girl, scored the most runs in the cricket match. TA, a 14-year-old boy, showed great leadership skills as the captain of his football team, leading them to victory in the final match. At the end of the event, certificates and medals were awarded to all the children for their participation and achievements, which they proudly showed off to their friends and caregivers.

The sports event at Roshni Homes Trust was a resounding success, providing a fun and engaging platform for the children to showcase their sports skills and teamwork. The event not only promoted physical activity and healthy competition among the children, but also helped to boost their self-esteem and confidence. We are grateful to our donors for their support in making this event possible and for their continued support in improving the lives of the children at Roshni Homes Trust.
