We are about to conclude a school year that has been different for all of us. We all had to adapt to new ways of relating to one another, of working and carrying out our daily routines.
It was an enormous challenge for the entire Peraj community. All mentors and mentees were affected, one way or another, by lack of connectivity and emotional exhaustion, thus complicating even more their daily activities. Nevertheless, by staying together as a team we succeeded! We were able to continue our mentoring activities in 25 states in Mexico, collaborating with 65 universities, and more than 1,500 mentor-mentee pairs kept active even though physically distant.
We are getting ready to return to our activities after the summer in a mixed modality. We will take advantage of the experience that virtual mentoring gave us. We now have access to online mentoring tools and various resources which will not only bring us closer to the children mentees and youth mentors in Peraj. We will also be able to have a closer supervision and to expand the learning and development tools available for mentoring activities. We look forward to an even more efficient hybrid-format mentoring experience.
We are extremely grateful for your support, thanks to which we are able to grow our program and make it more solid. We invite you to follow our activities, and be closer to our mentors and mentees. Thank you for being part of Peraj.
