Not all stories have happy endings. Yet without the support of generous donors like you, Sriyani would have suffered in great pain at her end-of-life.
During the social and economic crisis she was unable to access treatment for her thyroid cancer. When she did seek treatment her cancer had advanced and was incurable. Thankfully she was referred to CANE Hospice where she received compassionate end-of-life care including medications and pain relief that were provided through Two Worlds Cancer Collaborations’ emergency appeal.
Thanks to our generous donors, patients like Sriyani have access to the pain relief they need even as the economic crisis in Sri Lanka still affects the supply of medications for this type of compassionate care.
You are helping ease the suffering of those in need of such essential and compassionate care.
