Safe Water Sports, the Organization that promotes safety in the aquatic environment, is ''trevelling'' to Cyprus as it plans to create awarness to citizens and tourists there and create the SWS Cyprus.
Recently the Organization was invited by the Ministry of Education in Cyprus to host a seminar to the teachers of the primary school education in order to plan together about the execution of the educational program and the safe swimming program. Additionally, this summer the Organization will be invited again on 25th July, given the fact that it is the Drowing Prevention Day worldwide, to present statistical information to journalists.
Additionally, the Organization has published the annual statistical report that presents drownings and injuries at sea and inland waters where 407 people lost their lives in 2023.
Last but not least, we plan to create an educational interactive platform for gamification in order for children in various countries worldwide can log in to this platform and learn about safety at sea and in water sports. It will be an online platform on real-time basis that users may interact with others but they will also be able to play by themselves the games that will be created and distributed to the platform.
