Together, We Can Keep Helping - Your Support Makes

By Anna Jafernik | Project's Leader

Dear Supporter,

Thanks to your generosity, the Program Orange Energy – Stopping Children's Loneliness continues to make a real impact on the lives of children and young people in crisis. Your support has been invaluable, allowing us to provide much-needed psychological assistance and a sense of belonging to those who need it most.

Throughout 2024, we worked tirelessly to support children and teenagers struggling with psychological challenges. Since the launch of our program, we have provided nearly 980 hours of streetwork, and just last year alone, we conducted 350 free psychological consultations for young people in urgent need of help and psychological crises. Many of them struggle with suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and depression. We firmly believe that prevention is better than cure, which is why our dedicated streetworkers are continuously active in the field, organizing outdoor activities and offering emotional support. Twice a week, in any weather, they meet with children and teenagers in two city districts. Together, they play football, board games, and, most importantly, they talk—building trust and meaningful connections. Our streetworkers see the potential in every young person and ensure that no child feels alone or abandoned. The kids eagerly anticipate every meeting, and participation remains high.

Currently, over 35 young people benefit from our support. Beyond our regular sessions, we strive to provide access to cultural and sports events, taking children to the cinema, the ice rink, and various city attractions. All our activities are completely free, making sure that every young person, regardless of their family situation, has the opportunity to engage and feel supported. We have been able to accomplish all this solely because of compassionate donors like you, who refuse to ignore the struggles of vulnerable children. However, as we look ahead to 2025, our ability to continue this vital work is in jeopardy.

Our financial resources are running out, and without additional support, we may no longer be able to help children and young people in crisis, especially if about streetwork with children. We deeply appreciate everything you have done to support our mission. With your continued help, we can keep making a difference. Would you consider renewing your support today?

With gratitude,

Orange Energy Team
