Our dear friends, we monitored the two young women with disaiblities who we gave sewing machines. The two are Stella and Noreen.
Stella is visually impaired with some sight and she is able to knit customers clothes. Stella is a single mother with one child. Her spouse had abandoned her. He had stopped paying rent for her, paying school fees for daughter and she was in tears all the time. We identified her, trained her in tailoring and gave her a sewing machine. She is now able to live an independent life as her per attached story.
Noreen is a young woman with a physical disability. When we sent for monitoring, she was lacking a small support machine because her legs are weak. We bought two support machines for her and she is progressing well. She is happy.
We have other 18 girls who need such support to enable them earn a living and lead independent lives.
