Empower 360 Children with Disabilities in Armenia.

Thanks to our 162 philanthropists and great donors, at the end of April 2020, more than $ 7,189 was raised for our project. These donations embodied the wishes, love and dedication of 162 human hearts. This is the most valuable aspect for us, rather than just the raised money itself. It was unbelievable that during the COVID-19 disaster, when every human being became vulnerable in this globe, our donors did not stop being philanthropists. 360 children say “Thank you!” Their warm gratitude is summed up in the video that you will receive soon.

We planned to get our children out of isolation, but because of the pandemic, we isolated ourselves. But one thing was clear to all of us - we had to find a way out and reach to our children, because that's how our benefactors delegated us to do.

In between the months of May and June we, together with our children, have made inclusion a reality in the virtual world. From the first 10 days of May, we started our distance services to our children - thus inspiring them hope and belief that they are not neglected and forgotten even in these times of real disaster.

Every day, about 360 children with disabilities learn to recognize themselves in the virtual space, learn to help themselves and finish the day by saying: See you tomorrow!

This is only the very start of the project happening in the days of pandemic. For the next reporting months we hope to overcome the hardships and exclusion caused by COVID-19 and work directly with children to overcome their feelings of disparity and isolation and give them chance to develop themselves, go to school, get quality education and enjoy friendship of their peers.
