Since March 2020 GlobalGiving has connected the “Bridge of Hope” Armenian NGO to 222 donors and up to date 13,799 USD is raised of $91,800 goal for the project “Enable 360 children with disabilities in Armenia”. Bridge of Hope has got access the GlobalGiving tools, training and support needed to deliver its mission for inclusion of children with disabilities in Armenian schools and communities.
The current progress report covers the period 01.09.2022-31.10.2022. Within this period 735 USD have been donated by our benevolent benefactors.

SUMMARY OF PROGRESS
During the reporting period 360 children with disabilities benefited from the services of BOH community-based centers in Dilijan, Ijevan and Berd and Noyemberyan cities of Tavush Marz. The schooling year was finished successfully, and the project supported our children to enjoy their summer holidays through rehabilitation camp and recreations along with their regular rehabilitation services.

ANI IS LOOKING FORWARD TO A GREAT YEAR!

Ani (on the left) first began receiving support services for learning disabilities in the first grade, but nevertheless struggled with schoolwork. She has dyslexia and quickly fell far behind her peers in reading. Her mother was concerned that her daughter was making only minimal progress.
Ani was enrolled in BoH program in March 2022 in Ijevan community-based center, where she was provided with an inclusive environment and specialized services. This September Ani started her schooling in the 2-nd grade. " Ani is doing so well!! Her reading has improved. The support she is getting from Bridge of Hope program, has improved her confidence and self-esteem. I will forever be so grateful for all your help in finding her the right fit", - tells her mother.
