Enable 360 children with disabilities in Armenia.

Progress Report JUNE - SEPTEMBER 2024

OVERVIEW OF THE REPORTING PERIOD: Thanks to the continued generosity of our donors and GlobalGiving, we provided vital support to 360 children with disabilities across Tavush and Artsakh during this summer period. Summer is a time for recreation and joy, and we ensured that our children enjoyed every moment while also receiving the therapies they need to thrive.

Summer Activities and Key Achievements Inclusive Summer Camps: Over 400 children with and without disabilities participated in our summer camp programs in Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd and Noyemberyan, filled with creative workshops, outdoor activities, and social events designed to foster inclusion and build friendships. These camps provided a much-needed break from routine therapies while helping children develop selfconfidence and social skills.

Psychosocial rehabilitation Support: Even during the summer, our team of specialists delivered crucial therapies—physical, speech, and art therapy—ensuring the children continued to progress. Many children showed improvements in mobility, communication, and emotional expression, allowing for smoother integration into school and community life.

A Summer of Joy, Growth, and Inclusion! INSPIRING PROGRESS One standout story is Aren, an 8-year-old boy with cerebral palsy who participated in our summer camp. Surrounded by a joyful and supportive environment, Aren thrived as he engaged in group games, creative activities, and fun outdoor adventures. The camp helped him build strong friendships, boosting his selfesteem and happiness. Aren’s laughter and excitement, shared with his peers, highlighted the camp’s success in fostering inclusion and creating a sense of belonging for every child. His experience is a testament to the joy and connection our programs provide.

Looking Ahead: Your Support is Critical! As we move forward, sustaining these transformative services is essential. Your donations ensure that these children continue to receive not only therapy but also the joy of childhood. With your help, we can keep providing life-changing opportunities for 360 children. Please consider renewing your support today to bring more joy, healing, and hope to children with disabilities in Armenia.

Donate today and make a lasting difference!
