A Heartfelt Update from the Frontlines in Syria
Dear Supporter,
Baby Ali, just 24 days old, was rushed to one of SEMA’s hospitals in northwest Syria with a dangerously high fever, refusal to feed, and severe difficulty breathing. He was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and immediately admitted to neonatal intensive care.
Thanks to your support, our medical team acted swiftly—placing him in a specialized incubator and starting life-saving treatment. Today marks his third day in the hospital, and we’re overjoyed to share that his condition is improving steadily. He will soon be strong enough to go home.
Your generosity made this possible.
Every day, our hospitals in Syria receive dozens of fragile newborns, many in critical condition. With your continued help, we can provide emergency care at the most crucial moments—moments that mean the difference between life and death.
The gratitude in the eyes of these children’s families is indescribable. You are part of something truly life-changing.
Let’s keep saving the smallest and most vulnerable lives—together.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
— The SEMA Team
