During the Course of 2022/2023, The HOPE Team Has Been Hard at Work Fulfilling the Vision of Yusuf Foundation.
Yusuf Foundation Has Joined Hands With HOPE to Construct Three Maternal & Child Health Centers in Rural and Remote Villages in Pakistan .
As a Developing Country, Pakistan Has Disproportionately High Maternal and Infant Mortality Rates.
This is Due to High Poverty Rates of 25% to 40% Combined with a Lack of Government-Sponsored Health Facilities for the Poor. Even if Government- Sponsored Facilities Do Exist, They are Few in Number and the Quality of Care is Often Subpar .
In Rural and Remote Areas of Pakistan , Maternal and Infant Mortality Rates are Substantially Higher Than in Developed, Urban Areas .
Underserved Communities Rely Heavily Upon Non-Governmental Organizations Such as HOPE to Provide Basic Healthcare and Educational Needs.
Constructing a Healthcare Facility Which Offers Free/Nominal Cost Services To Rural Villagers Can Have an Immediate and Lasting Impact Upon Saving Lives .
Over the Course of 1.5 Years , Yusuf Foundation Has Partnered With HOPE to Establish Three MCHCs :
All of Yusuf Foundation's MCHC's , Including Muzaffargarh, Are Equipped to Handle Normal and Cesarean Births, Essentially Making Them Mini-Hospitals .
In Pakistan , 33% of Maternal Deaths and 80% of Infant Deaths Are Preventable .
Each of Yusuf Foundation's MCHCs Will Provide Free Healthcare to Over 20,000 Villagers Annually.
We are Eternally Grateful to Yusuf Foundation For Generously Sponsoring Construction and Operational Costs for Three MCHCs in Underserved Villages in Pakistan .
Together , We Can Endeavor to Save the Lives of Mothers and Infants and Reduce Maternal and Infant Mortality in Pakistan .
