In March, with the return to school, we started our agenda of activities in schools and rural communities in Santiago del Estero (Argentina). We began our ICT workshops for kindergarten and elementary school students and teachers where, among other topics, we focused on different digital educational skills, the use of educational apps, and Google and Office tools. So far this year, we have already held 36 workshops in 4 schools, promoting digital culture to 106 children and 14 teachers.
In mid-April, we carried out the first Primary Health Care trip. Over 5 days, our volunteer health team ( made up of specialists in pediatrics, nursing, social work, nutrition and biochemistry) provided care to 226 children and 92 rural families. It was a week of intense work, but we were able to meet our goal of providing quality medical care to children in 7 rural communities.
We also carried out volunteer days together with friends from two companies, in which we visited and shared recreational activities with students from 4 rural schools. In addition, we carried out infrastructure improvement tasks in two of them, repairing and painting the walls of classrooms and facades.
And that is not all! We continued to support the schools by donating basic resources (educational materials, school supplies, etc.), and we maintained direct contact with directors and teachers, collaborating with them in every need that arose.
All of this was carried out with the same enthusiasm and hope as always. And it makes us VERY HAPPY to know that we have your support.
