Education Campaigns
School Enrollment: This Life in Schools program supported twelve enrollment campaigns within 12 target schools during this reporting period. There were 3,001 participants ( 1,821 women). The purpose of the campaigns was to keep parents and students aware of the enrollment dates and help them with any barriers. It also promoted the value of education during this period. Each event included tractors and motorbikes directly into all villages with critical educational messages. As reported by the schools, most students registered on time and were total participants in the school opening day events.

For this event, we collaborated with the commune chief, police officers, and health center staff. All three groups provided invaluable insights, messages, and materials to students, parents, and community leaders.
Ms. Keng Sina, School Principal of Daun Sok school, said:
“I am delighted that This Life In Schools Program and the key stakeholders organized this event because it can help the community to understand the disadvantages of dropping out of school, early marriage, and drugs use. I hope our community will develop and change their mindset to be more supportive of children learning”.
Teachers and School Support Committee member's training
The two training courses on facilitation skills and positive behavior are critical for education stakeholders to work with each other in a mindful, kind, and respectful way. The impact reflects in school development, students' performances, and attendance, where they learn in a more positive environment. School Support Committee members, teachers, and school principals from twelve schools with 110 participants (43 women) can fulfill the students' development, their emotional desires for education, and the success of their academic performances.

The development partner is indispensable for school development because it is a vital resource. I appreciate the attention, especially from the Executive Director of This Life, an Australian who came to help Cambodia. I also would like to express my deepest gratitude for making SSC members willing to work together with high commitment and inspire them to be clear on their roles with well-function”.
