Project Report | Apr 29, 2025
Q1 2025

By Miriam Faust | Fundraising Development Manager

Dear friends and supportes of Wadadee Cares e.V.,

Home iNAMi – Quarterly Report Q1/2025

The first quarter of the year was overall calm. We are pleased that a strong and reliable structure has been established both in day-to-day life and in our work with the children and adolescents. There is a respectful atmosphere, and the daily routine provides everyone involved with a sense of stability and guidance.

Namibia has experienced more rainfall over the past two months than it has in decades. Our grounds and buildings were also affected: while there were some minor damages, they were not severe and were quickly repaired. Overall, the infrastructure held up well, and we are using these weather events as an opportunity to further adapt and optimise our construction methods.

We are particularly pleased with the positive development of the children and adolescents in our care. Academic support remains steady, and the feedback from the schools has been consistently positive.

This week, the schools have started their Easter holidays. The children are enjoying their free time, and we are offering more creative and community-oriented activities at the house. Special Easter activities are also planned for the upcoming weekend, including arts and crafts, a small celebration, and an Easter egg hunt on the premises, all of which the children are eagerly looking forward to.

We look ahead to the second quarter with confidence and excitement, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue shaping this project together with our partners and supporters.

Greetings from Namibia
