Asha Deep Foundation organises summer camp for the orphanage children every year to a hill station. The Summer Camp was organised from 1st to 7th June 2018.
The place selected was beautiful hill station at Himachal Pradesh - Dalhousie.
The theme of the summer camp was * VALUES OF LIFE*
The children were very excited about the camp and 54 children started the journey on 1st June 2018 and had lot of fun on the way and reached Dalhousie- Kyber House- The Earth Center on 2nd June 2018.
The children were very happy to see the beautiful nature around and pollution free environment.
The children were allotted rooms. The rooms were very beautifully arranged and in each room 4 beds.It had attached washroom and toilets. Very spacious rooms. Children liked it very much.
Children were tired so all of them relaxed and then they reached dining hall and enjoyed hot and delicious food and went to bed.
On 3rd June Children got up early morning and started the day doing YOGA and Jogging. Then they got ready had breakfast and went out for treaking, in one of the spot children sat and did painting of the Nature. Then came back to the center.
After lunch a workshop was held on the theme VALUE OF LIFE. Chidlren were made groups and many group activities, Presentations were organised and children shared 42 values of life. It was a very good learning experience for all the children.
Evening games were organised for the children and before dinner day review and next day planning was done.
On 4th June 2018 Children did yoga, breakfast and then got ready to visit KAJJAR whichis also called MINI SWITZERLAND . The spot is really beautiful , children enjoyed lunch and many games were organised for the children. It was a memorable day for the children.
On 5th June 2018 Children attended the workshop on THEME VALUES OF LIFE and then visited the market place and oldest Church - St. John 's Chuch at Dalhousie. Evening had some fun , ice cream and treking was done.
On 6th June 2018 departed from Dalhousie and on the way children visited WAGHA BORDER and GOLDEN TEMPLE at AMRITSAR. Children had lot of learning during the camp and by the grace of GOD all the children reached back home safely on 7th June 2018,
