Asha Deep Foundation children celebrated the Independence Day on 15th August 2017. The children performed various cultural programmes. The Chief Guest appreciated the children who performed in the events and gave prizes to the children. Flag hoisting was done by the Director Rev. H.K. Chetty. The children also gave speech about India and the development which is continously happending in India. Drawing competitions was organised and children also made Kite and fly high during Independence Day.
As it was a special day the orphanage children had a special lunch and sweets and enjoyed the day. The children also participated in workshop organised for the children on the topic : MY NATION. The children actively participated in the workshop and performed role plays, skit etc and made the workshop sucessful.
The orphanage children saw a movie how the India got freedom and since 1947 the growth which has taken place in India.
