Spring Updates from HOPE

Dear HOPE Supporters,

Is it only March? So much has happened since our last update in November! We are very thankful for your continued support through a challenging 2020 and an already interesting 2021. Because of you, we have been able to continue providing services to individuals with disabilities, work on training new instructors and even hire new staff members. You have helped us grow, adapt, and evolve with the changing times.

Overcoming obstacles, the amazing HOPE team continued serving participants throughout much of last year. After a break for the holidays, which gave our horses and staff a much-needed reprieve, we resumed program February 2021 with about 10 regular participants on the schedule. Soon we will welcome back orphanages as well as adults who are enrolled in our Prevocational Program that was started last fall.

As we move into 2021, HOPE continues to adapt. After learning that our Stable Assistant Mr. Wang would return to his hometown to be with his family, we were unsure if we would be able to find a qualified replacement, but our connections did not fail us! Within a month or two we found Mr. Fu, who has experience, is a rider himself, can lead our horses in lessons, and helps exercise the horses. This month Liu Hui joined our team. She is assisting Luna with communications and development to recruit new HOPE supporters as they share the great work that our team does every day.

We expect to have updates to share in the coming months. As always, we are thankful for your support and dedication to HOPE, our participants, horses, and staff.

In Gratitude,

The HOPE Team
