Rwenzori Center for Research and Advocacy (RCRA) is a Ugandan- community based non-government organization registered by Law of Uganda (Reg. INDR 150313682NB), with a national office in Kasese, plot 5 Koro Road and regional coordination office in Kampala.
RCRA's vision is to create an informed and healthier society. The mission is to empower communities through initiatives that enhance livelihoods, healthcare, and education in line with the demands of the 21st century.
Over the last 10 years, RCRA is grounded on increasing access to numerous family planning services, primary healthcare, and climate resilient families in rural underserved communities in Rwenzori Region and refugee settlements in Uganda. We create awareness on the benefits of being able to choose the timing and spacing of children and the family planning methods available thereby accelerating access to modern contraceptives and other primary health care services, and integrated natural resource management
We are progressing with the preparation for the construction of the marternity block.
We support the district official to visit the construction site for validation and assessment giving way to the completion of the architect designs.
We facilitated renewal of the organization website domain.
We recruited a fultime organization driver.
