We're currently in the rainy (and slow) season here on Utila. So far we've had 2 larger storms pass our way, with no major damages on the island, but we did have flooding in many areas along with coastal errosion. We still have a bit of time left in rainy season, and we hope to continue through it unharmed.
Onto ongoing projects, we have been able to purchase 3 brand new laptops for the public school, which will be given to them shortly. We're hoping to get the school a total of 20 new computers in the coming year.
If you are coming to Utila and have a used but working laptop that you would like to donate, we're happy to accept them to give to the public school, or a student in need if preferred.
