PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
Raise funds for the purchase of musical instruments and furniture for the Municipal Music School of Villa de San Antonio in Honduras.
CONTEXT:
For almost 4 years, a Municipal School of Music was formed at the initiative of the local authorities in which the children of the municipality and its villages can learn music and play different musical instruments free of charge. This year the school wants to increase the number of boys and girls so that they have the opportunity to develop their talents and their goal is to serve 80 children.
In order to serve this number of students, more musical instruments and furniture are needed, and parents and authorities do not have sufficient funds to buy them.
The project was aimed at developing fundraising activities for the purchase of musical instruments for the municipal music school with the support of friends and non-profit organizations. The goal set was $1,500
DEVELOPED ACTIVITIES:
On May 25, 2022, the goal was met by raising $1,395.35 plus 2 recurring donations of $50.00 and one of $10.00 that will be received in the coming months of June and July for a total of $1,500.35
