Hands-on trades training has commenced at Casa Hogar de Cabo San Lucas with Saturday afternoon sessions! The first 12-week module has concluded. Our teens learned to use soldering irons and basic concepts of electrical circuits. The next module is plumbing 101.
This is the beginning of our goal to teach trades and valuable life skills to the teens at Casa Hogar de Cabo San Lucas A.C. We are proud to have partnered with CECATHO a local trades-training school for affordable, practical clases onsite at Casa Hogar.
We are still looking for volunteers to provide sewing classes. We have brand new machines ready to be used. If you know of someone who might be interested please reach out! We will be sending photos of the classroom once it's fully functional, in the meantime we have some photos of the first electrical circuit module classes to share. Thank you for your support to get this project running!
Gratefully,
Jayson Stirrup
