The Garage School expansion

Thank you so much for your generosity.  The expansion is almost complete.  We're nearing the tail end and you have made this possible.  As you can see from the photograph, the building is erected and we need to install the lift and other final touches.  

There are so many things that go to creating structures and systems, even if it is with the purest of intentions.  The building itself has to be fundraise and made, and the teachers and students have to be safe and healthy and able to study.

As The Garage School has a track record of top education for these very deserving children who are the offspring of the servants of the very rich surrounding area, there is always this built in irony as there is struggle to educate these children in a very downtrodden area and so much effort to raise the funds, while just next door is the greatest wealth of the country, lavishly spent on parties and fancy clothes and cars.

But since 1999, the education has taken place and the lives of these deserving children have transformed.  And now, in 2022, this project is expanding - with your help - to this new building.  The need is real and the impact enormous.

The children are not just brilliant, but street-smart. Given proper "Tarbiat" (grooming) and a good education, they are being trained to be positive and useful members of society.  This new school building is enabling enhanced capacity to 800 students.
