The Garage School continues to go from strength to strength, expanding and educating more children. Now the the expansion is complete, future funding will go towards educating more children there. It is a very noble, worthwhile cause with street children having not just proper education, but loving nourishment and teachers who believe in them.
We are big supporters of this project and its amazing founder Shabina Mustafa. Widowed at 19, with a baby son, she channeled all her energy into caring for others. Instead of being bitter and angry, she is compassionate, big hearted and always there for others. Understanding what is really important as opposed to what society may place value on, she is an extraordinary woman and it's her essence that drives this school and its inspiring impact.
