Our Midwife Training Project received $30,504 in donations from 498 unique donations over the past year. This means our project has reached 86% of our $36,000 goal.
Bumi Sehat is required to send all of our midwives back to school for an extra year by new Indonesian Health Department regulations. This way, they can keep their licenses and their jobs at our clinics—and most importantly—keep delivering the gentle, loving care that Bumi Sehat gives every mother, regardless of her family's ability to pay.
Our senior midwives have all been re-certified. Now, we can focus on re-certifying our junior midwives as well. With your support, we'll meet this goal.
We'd like to especially thank our 33 monthly donors who contribute to this project on a regular basis. When a donor signs up to make monthly donations, they make a real difference to our fundraising efforts. We know we can expect a certain amount every month to support a project. We don't have to rely on waiting for a designated fundraising event. This makes our jobs much easier and ensures we can reach our fundraising goals faster.

Please join us for July Bonus Day on July 12. This is one of Bumi Sehat's biggest annual fundraising events. This year, GlobalGiving will offer a $400,000 matching fund for donations up to $1,000.
