We've reached 92% of our goal and only $3202 remains to be funded.
We just received an alert from GlobalGiving that our project to train our Bali midwives for an extra year has reached over 90% of its funding goal. The last group of three midwives from the Bumi Sehat Bali clinic are finishing their final year of extra training this year so they can retain their midwivery licenses in Indonesia. After they graduate, all of our Bali-based midwives will now qualify under the new regulations.
We should reach our final goal soon and no later than the Little x Little campaign in mid-September.
We still have an active project to train the midwives in our Aceh clinic. They have to fulfill the same extra year of training required by the govenment. If you are one of our 33 monthly donors who has been supporting the midwives continuing education for the past year, please continue to support the Aceh midwives with your monthly donations.
Thanks for continuing to support our midwives. Because of their loving care, the clinic can continue to provide the woman-to-woman model of midwifery care to all our patients.
