By Kirsten Rachman | Assistant Project Manager
Dear Friends,
It has been a busy few months in Terat, helped by your continued generosity and support for our work.
The solarisation of the community dairy is continuing; the solar array has been installed successfully and is now in the final stages of being wired and connected. This will not only provide an important source of income for the village but also a consistent and reliable source of power for the radio station, ORS FM, which continues to be a vital source of public health information for the nomadic Maasai communities.
The pictures show the solar installation taking shape in Terat, as well as some of the work being done on the wiring; we hope the installation comes online soon for the benefit of the community!
As ever, please do feel free to share this project with friends and family - we and the people of Terat, Tanzania will be very grateful.
Many thanks and kind regards
Kirsten and the SVRG team
