Greeting from Mongolia (7th)

By Mira Kim | Head of International Cooperation Team

Hello again from Mongolia,

We are pleased to share with you the 7th update on U-Change’s Mongolia Burn Children Project. First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters. Your continued interest and generous contributions have made it possible for us to carry out life-changing work for children affected by burns in Mongolia.

Between February and March 2025, the U-Change medical team successfully completed a field mission to Mongolia. During this visit, we provided direct treatment and follow-up care to children who had previously received support. We also conducted comprehensive assessments to better understand the ongoing needs of burn-injured children and their families.

Throughout the trip, we distributed essential medical supplies—including specialized moisturizers and dressing kits—to over 100 children. We also conducted follow-up examinations for the children who underwent surgery in 2024, and we are pleased to report that they are recovering well.

Beyond providing treatment, U-Change has been actively collaborating with local healthcare workers to ensure continuity of care. We are currently exploring opportunities to offer further training programs and establish partnerships aimed at strengthening local capacity in pediatric burn care.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce a special event: “Face820 Mongolia”, scheduled for August 2025. This event aims to raise awareness and gather support for children affected by burns in Mongolia.

None of this would be possible without your support. Every donation, message of encouragement, and act of solidarity directly impacts a child’s recovery and future. Thanks to your compassion, hope continues to grow in the hearts of children who once knew only pain.

We look forward to sharing our next update with you, which will include details on the upcoming Face820 event and continued support activities in Mongolia throughout 2025.

Together, let’s continue to bring healing and hope.

With gratitude,
Mira Kim
Project Manager, U-Change Mongolia Burn Children Project
