Feeling prepared for the new school year after the summer break can be challenging for many children, especially those impacted by last year's earthquakes.
IOM psychosocial mobile teams organized a back-to-school festival in Gaziantep and a school adaptation event in Kahramanmaras for Turkish, migrant and refugee children to:
The impact on the mental health of affected communities, especially children, was calling for greater investment in psychosocial support. So IOM Turkyie, brought Turkish and Syrian children together for the “Together We Can” activity, helping to strengthen their bond, improve their communication skills and build self-confidence, contributing to the community of earthquake survivors.
