Our GlobalGiving project, ‘Help Ukrainian children with disabilities,’ has received a lot of attention from potential beneficiaries. We received many more requests for help, highlighting the importance of, and the need for, the project.
We have so far paid for four physiotherapy treatment courses for four children with disabilities, which costs 8,400 hryvnias (US$302) for each child. The 'Essential Sessions' treatments are to take place at the hippotherapy center and include:
10 hippotherapy sessions
10 Sandakov method massage sessions
10 kinesiotherapy sessions.
Your generous support means that the treatment so far has been paid for 4 boys with disabilities: 1 boy completed his treatment in December, another boy started his treatment on December 16, while two other boys are to attend their courses at the beginning of 2021.
We continue working on this project and raising funds so that many more children with disabilities will have a chance to get treatment and live a healthier life.
