Dear friends, please meet Maksim, a five-year-old child with disabilities. The boy is raised by his grandmother, as his parents are deprived of parental rights. Svitlana, Maksim’s grandmother, shared that the family struggles to make ends meet in the current situation.
Soaring prices have resulted in the rise of poverty in Ukraine. Families of children with disabilities are significantly impacted; as most of the income is spent on food, there is little to no money left for children’s healthcare. Your donation helped Maksim and six other children with disabilities attend physical therapy courses at a total cost of UAH 146301.5 (USD 5000.92). Undergoing physical therapy is essential for children with disabilities as it helps improve their health and live healthier lives with less pain.
