Ukraine Tensions: No Child Forgotten

Dear friends, 

We are pleased to share how your donations have supported children with disabilities in Ukraine. 

Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to assist four children from low-income families, at a total cost of USD 3418. 

One of these children is Arthur, a six-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy and structural epilepsy. His mother, Oksana, told us that they attended many physical therapy sessions to help Arthur feel better: “We kept going. I did everything I could, despite being a single mother raising Arthur on my own. Eventually, he stood on his own two little feet, holding onto something for support. That moment was the greatest joy of my life.” 

Arthur’s story reflects the experiences of many other children we support. They struggle for food and other necessities and would not be able to afford the treatments their children need several times a year without your help. This is what makes your support so precious. We thank you sincerely for giving these children the opportunity to receive treatments they would not otherwise get. While the situation in Ukraine remains dire, your support for families like Arthur’s is invaluable. No child should be forgotten, and no child should be left behind.
