Dear Donors:
On behalf of United Way Honduras we want to thank you for supporting our UNITED WE HELP HONDURAN FAMILIES STORMS ETA / IOTA campaign.
Thanks to your generosity, thousands of families affected by the hurricanes were benefited with a basic kit that included the following products:
• Food for 15 days
• 2-burner stove
• Cleaning and hygiene products
• Biosafety supplies
• New clothes
• Blanket
• Basic household items in some cases beds and refrigerators.
Your contribution made it possible to bring relief to families from La Lima, Choloma, Villanueva, Chamelecón, Naco and Cofradía.
In total, we supported 1922 families to whom we delivered 288,300 food rations, 15,200 pieces of clothing and many more items. Attached you will find a more detailed report.
Our activities of support through humanitarian aid to the people affected by these hurricanes have concluded, now we are working on long-term programs and projects that allow the most vulnerable communities to achieve their development.
