Hello donor
We are very happy to be able to send you our first update on our project.
First, we'd like to thank you for contributing to our campaign. We are so thankful for your support!
Since the end of our December fundraising campaign, we've taken a big step towards the creation of our university by shipping donated computers to our office in Kabala.
These computers will help us establish a computer lab at our current office where we hope to not only hold classes for our students, but also provide classes for the community. We see this as an important way to build the technical skill set of our community.
This computer lab will not only allow us to provide classes to our students, but we also plan to increase the sustainability of our program by charging a small fee for adult computer literacy classes. We believe these fees will help us maintain the computer lab as well as establish a hardline internet connection for our office.
See below for some photos of the computers ready for shipment. We'll be sure to share photos once they are set up in the office.
Thank you again for your support,
The Project 1808 Team
