Our dedicated team at the Idlib Surgical Specialty Hospital recently performed the region’s first-ever aortic coarctation stenting procedure, successfully saving the life of a young patient named Hani and offering him a second chance at a full, active life.

Hani came to us after being referred from another hospital, struggling with a severe coarctation of the aorta, a congenital narrowing that had led to dangerously high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, and intermittent claudication, making even the simplest activities a painful struggle. Without timely intervention, his future health and quality of life were at serious risk.

With expert precision and unwavering commitment, our team performed this groundbreaking procedure using a covered stent (Begraft) through our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab. By the grace of God, the operation was a resounding success.
