Project Report | Apr 2, 2019
YOUPSA has the vehicle, thanks to you!

Nissan X-Trail

Dear Friends of YOUPSA,

We can hardly believe it, YOUPSA now has a strong reliable 2nd hand SUV for bringing our education programs to the rural children and youth. We are both delighted and relieved, because the old vehicle that we used for so many years was really on its last legs.

Due to your generosity, YOUPSA raised the funds needed to purchase a 2016 Nissan X-Trail. Donations came through GlobalGiving, PayPal and direct bank transfer to achieve this goal. Already it has allowed us to accomplish things that we would not have been able to do before. For example, we could transport 6 children to an outing, and we could transport a whole family of 5 to a School Open Day.

The vehicle normally has 5 seats, but this can be extended to 7 seats, from two smaller fold-up seats that are hidden in the spare wheel area in the back section. This is wonderful, because this enables us to transport 5 children at one time. All back seats can be flattened to make a large space for transporting materials at the back. It also has roof racks and a tow bar.

We are now closing this campaign, because we have the needed vehicle. However we will continue to fundraise for the monthly running costs of the vehicle. Please let us know if you wish to help.

Please enjoy the pictures attached.

A HUGE Thank You to you!

With warm regards,

the YOUPSA Team
