Progress Report

By Johannes Shikuloh | Executive Director/Project Leader

Summery

This report covers an introduction regarding the impact report associated with funds raised through a donation to improve the living of the various segments of society in the Ohangwena Region of Namibia.

Here we present Donation Impact Report.  Impact reporting is a communication strategy that we are using to convey the changes we created and the targets we achieved. We often share with stakeholders, funders, supporters, and other beneficiaries. We put, Impact assessment reports assess the difference we made to the people we are trying to help, or progress that we are trying to make, or an issue that we are trying to improve with certain activities or events. The contents of this Impact Report aim to promote accountability and transparency of our organization.

Over $151.00 was Donated through GlobalGiving Foundation

  • Fifteen orphans have been provided with a healthy nutritious meals to combat childhood hunger and to provide necessary refreshment and strength and concentration, Provided with Blankets to protect them against cold this winter.
  • Nine Girls are provided with hygiene Sanitation pads so that they can attend school freely.
  • Ten Children were provided with stationery and school uniforms so that they can attend school. The provision of school uniforms is another impetus for children to attend school regularly. Generally, children that don’t have uniforms at school tend to be weak in the study as they feel less privileged compared to those that have and self-pity spills through to cause poor performance.
  • Thirty children are attending the under tree coaching classes and improved grades in passing Mathematics and Sciences particularly.

Roadblocks:

  • $3000 to purchase the land
  • $2000 to fence off the site
  • $5000 to build the structure
  • $1000 to purchase kitchen equipment
  • $1200 to pay volunteer teachers for one year
  • $1000 to buy the project's necessary pieces of equipment
  • $1000 to feed 50 orphans for 1 year
