The vocational training program in sewing has commenced for the first batch of trainees. We received a total of 100 applications, from which 54 women aged between 18 and 35 were selected and enrolled. The training is currently underway at the vocational centre, though it is being conducted under a tree while the vocational centre is being constructed. We have begun the use of three sewing machines for the practical training sessions.
The total cost for the sewing machines bought alongside servicing amounts to GH3,468 while the allowance for the sewing facilitator since the training began is GH3,000 for three months .
Simultaneously, the ICT training is also progressing and the expenditure on the ICT training for this quarter is GH1,000.
Total expenditure for the vocational training for this quarter summed up to GH7,468.
